About the event

Royal Engineers are unique soldiers in their respective services, active all over the world in conflict and in peacetime. From fighting alongside the Combat Arms to purifying water, making maps and building accommodation - Engineers play a vital role in the effectiveness of the armed forces. In peacetime, their skills and resources are used to help civilian population cope and recover from conflict and natural disaster. With an opening address from Brigadier Barry Le Grys, Engineer in Chief, British Army and with a programme developed directly with the support of the Royal Engineers, this is a must attend event for all those with an interest in this field.
