RCN Congress and Exhibition is where nurses and other health care professionals meet to learn, develop professionally and share excellent nursing practice. It is also where members inform the RCN agenda and influence nursing and health policies through debate.
RCN members engage in key debates around nursing practice, public health, employment issues, the workings of the RCN and many other relevant topics. Issues debated at Congress frequently make the headlines - it's an opportunity for the world to listen to the voice of nursing. These debates take place from Monday to Thursday.
Running alongside the business of Congress is a large programme of professional, educational and social events. This fringe programme is open to everyone and covers events relevant to all areas of health care so you are bound to find at least one session to interest you. The fringe programme runs from Monday to Thursday, with activities during the day and on into the evening. All of Congress is accredited, so it can count towards your PREP requirements and other professional development requirements.
