NFC Bootcamp™ comes to London
New for 2012 is a special ‘how to’, hands-on NFC Bootcamp, co-located with Screenmedia expo. Presented by OTA Training and Merchant 360, the NFC Bootcamp is the first globally standardised Near Field Communication educational series and is ideal for mobile developers, advertising agencies, brand marketers, and companies involved in payment processing. As a special feature of this inaugural European NFC Bootcamp, the NFC Showcase™ will be located right on the expo show floor where attendees from both events can experience first-hand how NFC works from the world’s leading NFC companies. The Screen - London bus tour
On Tuesday 15th May, the afternoon prior to the opening of Screenmedia expo, The Screen will hold a special briefing and bus tour to Westfield Stratford City followed by the London Olympic Park. The Westfield tour will be hosted by experts and operators involved in the running of the retail, media and technology on site. Although not all venues in the Olympic Park are open to the public, tour attendees will benefit from a fascinating insight into the future role of digital signage technologies in designing urban and sporting landscapes. LoveContent Awards 2012
For a second year, the LoveContent Awards, in association with The Screen, will be celebrating the very best in Digital Out-Of-Home (DOOH) creative campaigns during a ceremony to be held at the end of Day 1 at Screenmedia expo, Wednesday 16th May. The Awards gives creative agencies and network owners the chance to submit and showcase the latest and greatest campaigns, technology and case studies from across the UK's digital landscape.
Entries are open for any creative used on a digital signage or DOOH platform in the period between May 2011 & April 2012. All submissions must be entered into a specific Award category and will be available to view online at www.lovecontent.org. Deadline is 23rd April 2012.
Judging the entries will be representatives from Agencies, Network Owners & the Technologists, including; JWT, Ogilvy, Spafax, Kinetic, HMDG, JCDecaux, CBS Outdoor, Ocean, Clear Channel, EYE & Outdoor Plus, ISE2012 & DV Signage.
