About the event

The Business Travel Conference, with its comprehensive conference programme and private exhibition of around 60 leading business travel suppliers, is aimed at everyone with responsibility for booking, buying, arranging or handling business travel and meetings at companies both large and small. This includes everyone from PAs, secretaries, receptionists and travel administrators/coordinators, to office managers, event/meetings organisers, contract negotiation/expense reduction analysts, procurement and finance department personnel.

Why Attend TBTC’11?
The Business Travel Conference seminar and workshop programme will cover the subjects that really matter to corporate travel buyers and arrangers – themes such as cost saving strategies in times of economic downturn, creating and enforcing travel policies, safety and environmental responsibilities and meetings management – in a manner that will enable delegates to return to their day-to-day roles, put theory into practice and achieve the desired results.

The Conference is comprised of seminars (featuring experts in their field), smaller-group workshops and panel debates, giving delegates a range of environments in which to learn. The programme is designed to give practical advice for both novices and more experienced delegates that they will be able to take back to their business to help streamline processes and save money.

Delegates will be free to network with our speakers and to meet with a range of supplier companies in the Exhibition, each of whom will be able to demonstrate their products and the means to reap long-term cost-savings and streamline processes. All delegates will have the option to arrange one-to-one appointments with exhibitors in advance of the Conference. Furthermore, our delegate message service will return in ’11, enabling delegates to make appointments at the event itself.

One of the aims of TBTC’11 is to maximise the opportunities for attendees to network in a relaxed but professional format, giving delegates the chance to approach exhibitors about issues that affect their day-to-day roles and to build new or reinforce existing relationships that will continue long after the Conference is over.
