About the event

Living Crafts, the largest show of its kind in Europe, attracts thousands of visitors each day and is an event not to be missed. The myriad of crafts is enormous with literally hundreds of craftsmen and women from all corners of the British Isles coming to show their work. With stunning jewellery, ceramics and art to beautiful fashions, glass and leather, you'll be spoilt for choice. There will be a wide variety of lectures, hands-on workshops and spectacular demonstrations that will appeal to all ages. As a seasoned visitor or a brand new enthusiast, we have taken the greatest care to ensure that your visit will give you the best possible experience of the world of crafts. Family fun is provided with daily performances by jazz bands and children's entertainment together with a brass band, country dancing and Punch & Judy shows over the weekend. Parking is adjacent to the showground and historic Hatfield House and the beautiful gardens are only a few minutes away.

Whether you are a craft connoisseur or simply looking for a great family day out, the Festival of Living Crafts is an experience not to be missed. We ensure there are brand new crafts to experience, new skills to try out in the many workshops on offer and even more entertainment to enjoy while you soak up the invigorating atmosphere. We are proud of the reputation the show has maintained over more than three decades and will do our utmost to continue to build on it, with your patronage, for the next thirty years!
