Leonardo Lucchi was born in Cesena, Italy on the 9th December 1952. He lives and works in his hometown. He accomplished his studies at the Art School of Ceramics in Faenza where he graduated in 1970. During the first years of his career he took part in various collective and individual exhibitions and he realized his first major works “Ressurection” and “Via Crucis” for the Catholic Church of the Holy Trinity in Singapore. During more than thirty years of sculpting he has exhibited his work in many European towns (London, Nice, Paris, Modena, Rome, Venezia, Florence, Ferrara, Milan, Bologna, Palermo, Bari, Basel, Gent). Recently, he has completed several new public monuments among which two bronze groups dedicated to the Fallen of the Second World War (Forli and Terni), a bronze fountain for the Life Square in Bolgare near Bergamo in 2009 and a new piece at Bagno di Romagne. We are proud to be the only gallery representing Leonardo Lucchi in Great Britain.
