1. Free Admission to all Fairs
We have always had a strict policy of FREE ADMISSION to our fairs. We believe that the public object in principal to the practice of some organisers of making them pay for admission, and that this practice is unfair both to the craftspeople exhibiting and to the public, and deters a large number of potential visitors and customers.
The only exception to our policy is for fairs at Duncombe Park and St William's College, York, where there is a modest charge for entry to the house and historic building where the fairs are held - but only half the normal admission price
