A winning start at the Amex for the Albion, AVT Connect & Azure

AVT Connect, a full-service event production and digital communications agency with their HQ in Brighton are thrilled to be appointed as official audio visual partner for the new American Express Community Stadium, home of Brighton & Hove Albion FC.

Azure, a premium hospitality provider specialising in the Stadia, Sports and Leisure Markets, has been appointed to manage the match and non-match catering, as well as the event spaces for non-match days.

In the stadium’s opening weeks AVT Connect produced BHA Team Brighton, a one day event for the 330 strong team who run the venue, and also the prestigious Brighton & Hove Albion FC Annual Gala Dinner for 300. Both events took place in the fabulous Bupa Lounge, requiring full AV and stage setting production.

Albion's Head of Media & Communications, Paul Camillin praised AVT's services as first class, saying "It's fantastic to have AVT onsite for these types of events. They have all the experience to make sure everything runs smoothly, and having them at our first major event was a huge help, and meant we could sit back, relax and enjoy a historic night."

With meeting capacities from 10 to 500, and versatile event and exhibition space set within elegant, contemporary surroundings, the Amex is the UK’s new ‘must book’ venue.

The Albion recently played their first Championship match of the season in their magnificent new home which resulted in a 2-1 victory over Doncaster. Three days later they beat Gillingham 1-0 in the Carling Cup, again at the American Express Community Stadium to progress to the second round.
