ORM Pro, the specialist event technology company behind Event Check-in, has created an Advisory Panel that will influence future product innovations from the business.

ORM Pro, the specialist event technology company behind Event Check-in, has created an Advisory Panel that will influence future product innovations from the business.

The panel consists of high profile industry experts Alexis Butler, Head of Creative Services, Zibrant; Katie Resnick, Head of Events, ITV; Sue Potton, Managing Director, SPA; Jane Baker, Business Development Manager, CWT Meetings & Events; and Amy Kemp, Director, Kempster, who will ensure that ORM’s enterprise mobile innovations will directly benefit event organisers.

"Our aim is to produce mobile apps and cloud solutions that will change the way event organisers work and to impact positively in every aspect of their events", comments Mahesh Ramachandra, Head of Product at ORM. "We’re already getting positive feedback and advice from our panel on what applications they need to increase the impact and engagement of their events; we want to keep them involved in our business to help us continue this development."

"Technology in our sector is becoming more and more of a necessity to win and deliver business, and it is starting to cover all aspects of the traditional 'event', with back of house and client facing tools. But like anything there are still gaps in the market and ORM Pro have found an interesting one with huge potential. Zibrant considers itself an agency that is on the pulse of innovative technology and so are pleased to join ORM in shaping this fabulous industry tool," comments Alexis Butler, Head of Creative Services, Zibrant.

"ORM Pro are a fantastic, forward thinking organisation and a pleasure to work with; ITV licensed their Event Check-in App last year and because the system is so easy to operate my team use it on site at all events now. We're delighted to be working with them on their future innovations and are excited by what they can create in the future," comments Katie Resnick, Head of Events, ITV.

“Many of our clients manage event registration on spreadsheets and printed lists, Event Check-In offers these planners a simple, stylish and low cost registration solution that replaces their clipboards with iPads. This sort of application has a future in the events industry and its always welcome to work with businesses that want to develop the technology that we need," comments Jane Baker, Head of Business Development, CWT Meetings & Events.

“Mahesh and the team at ORM pro have drawn on their extensive experience in media and entertainment to create fresh new technology tools for the events industry that really work. It's so refreshing to see event management tools that are not just practical but uber-cool too!,” comments Sue Potton, Managing Director, SPA.

The Advisory Panel is being given advanced insight into applications and technology from ORM Pro, as well as advising on existing challenges and opportunities event organisers face and where new technology can help.

Event Check-in was launched in beta in October 2011 and has already secured high profile corporate clients including Apple, ITV, Ernst & Young and Channel 4, as well as event organisers such as AddingValue, Kempster, Five Hats and Amplify.
