Andy Gibb appointed by event organisers Ocean Media Group
Andy Gibb has joined Ocean Media Group as head of its leisure sector and Coventry office.
The former managing director of Opex Group will be heading up the re-branded Boat and Caravan Show as part of his new role with the event organisers, who have a portfolio of high-profile trade and consumer exhibitions across the UK and Europe.
James Brooks-Ward, managing director of Ocean Media Group, praised Mr Gibb's "diverse exhibition skill set" and said he would be a valuable asset to the company.
"It's exciting and motivating to be joining a company which is enhancing and developing its UK business while at the same time making inroads across continental Europe in a number of sectors," Mr Gibb added.
This week, event organisers Media 10 announced that they had selected Suzi Perry as the celebrity face of the Ideal Home Show.
She will talk about the latest consumer gadgetry at the exhibition.
