Audio visual hire firm DB Systems nominated for 2 awards
DB Systems has been nominated for two accolades at a prestigious events industry awards ceremony next month.
The audio visual hire company is in the running for the Equipment Supplier of the Year prize and Service Supplier of the Year at the Association of Event Organisers Excellence Awards 2010.
Last year, it won the award in the latter category.
"These nominations reflect the work ethic and high standards so synonymous with DB Systems," said David Bulley, DB's managing director.
"We always display innovation, creativity and professionalism at major global shows, such as Mobile World Congress and DSEi," he added.
Over the last year, the company has invested nearly £500,000 in new equipment and technologies, including introducing new program ecoXpress.
A major coup for the firm recently was its involvement in the first ever televised general election debate in the UK, for which it helped to supply the IT network infrastructure.
