Staging Connections Group today announced that its four Victoria-based event services businesses will move into a purpose built state-of-the-art centre of excellence in Oakleigh in July 2008.

Staging Connections Melbourne, Exhibitions and Trade Fairs, Bytecraft Entertainment and PointOfView will share one of the region’s largest facilities comprising 11,000sqm of warehousing and a major office complex complete with one of the industry’s largest event display showrooms.

The facility will also warehouse a comprehensive audio-visual inventory, which is unparalleled and includes the latest event and entertainment technology from Staging Connections and Bytecraft Entertainment.

According to Staging Connections Group chief operating officer Ben Ashton, co-locating the Group’s businesses will deliver greater business synergies and provide the opportunity to leverage the expertise and knowledge across the group.
“This new facility will enable our specialist event teams from all four businesses to more easily collaborate and share project information and knowledge,” he said. “Ultimately, our clients will be the winners as they will have access to an unparalleled range of event and entertainment services, expertise and know-how.
“We are developing a facility for our people, one that they will be proud to bring their industry colleagues and clients. Using the expertise from across the group, as well as external suppliers, for the fit-out and design will ensure that the final result meets the creative and technical requirements of all of our individual businesses, and that the Staging Connections Centre of Events Excellence will be finished to the highest standards.”
