Carlton House lands five-year catering deal

<p>Regent's College Conference Centre has extended its contract with Charlton House Catering Services for another five years.</p><p>The food services company has run the catering side of Regents College's events operation for the past seven years and secured a renewal of the deal after a three-stage bidding process.</p><p>"We were extremely impressed with the presentation Charlton House put together for us which clearly demonstrated their plans to assist us in developing our conference, meetings and outdoor event space," says Ross Macdonald, conference manager at the college.</p><p>Nico Prinsloo, director of business development at the catering firm, adds that the company is "absolutely delighted" to have landed the deal.</p><p>He adds that Charlton will look to build on its previous success and develop the special events side of the enterprise.</p><p>Last month, hotel chain Best Western announced that it is offering a recession-inspired menu as part of its catering for conferences.</p><p>The company revealed that there will be a bread and water choice in its line of "message-focussed" options.<br/><img alt="ADNFCR-1753-ID-19066755-ADNFCR" src="http://feeds.directnews.co.uk/feedtrack/justcopyright.gif?feedid=1753&it..." /></p>
