Centaur Exhibitions has appointed Melville GES, the UK’s leading turnkey exhibition and event supplier, to deliver shell scheme, electrics and feature area build for the global humanitarian and development aid event, AidEx 2013, in Brussels.

Nicholas Rutherford, Centaur's event director for AIDEX said, “An important factor in awarding of the contract to Melville GES was the attention paid to improving the overall visitor and exhibitor experience by raising the quality of the features, stands and other participative components of AidEx.”

Melville GES' COO Andy Gibb said, "We are delighted that the investment in our European operation is beginning to bear fruit. Being able to offer the organiser a consistently high quality of service wherever they choose to locate the show is just as important as having a team in the same country as the organiser to manage the relationship. Other investments made including, ISO 20121 certification, new technology, such as the Exhibitor Dashboard, and the facilities and people required to manage the operations in the show locality are proving to be very important factors for our customers."

AidEx is the only event of its kind taking place in Europe for buyers and suppliers of humanitarian and development aid and it attracts over 2000 humanitarian and development aid professionals to gather in one location for an exhibition, conference, practical workshops and networking opportunities.
