Famous sporting venue The Oval cricket ground in south London has raised its brand profile with a series of banners created by Sunbaba following a commission from advertising agency CMW.

The new branding adorns the storage areas at the stadium, as well as branded advertising banners to line the stadium concourse inside of the ground. Fixed to the fences running along the stadium, the screens had two objectives: to advertise the stadiums’ facilities, and to disguise the storage spaces.

“To hide the view of any storage areas and without restricting the stadium staff, the screens were individually measured to ensure precision and accuracy when in place,” explained Sunbaba’s technical director, Trevor Booth.
“Working with installation specialist GESS, the screens were hung on new fittings, installed and could be drawn back effectively when necessary.”

The Oval has played host to some of the worlds most exhilarating international matches including the 2005 Ashes Test Series, which saw England victorious for the first time in 18 years.
