DB Systems has won the contract to help stage London Fashion Week's first ever digital schedule featuring live streaming of shows.

DB Systems has won the contract to help stage London Fashion Week's first ever digital schedule featuring live streaming of shows.

The audio visual hire company was awarded the contract by Blonstein and Associates and will assist in delivering the new initiative, which involves a selection of digitally-presented fashion films created by designers.

DB will be the official supplier of the audio visual elements in the show's digital presentation theatre, which will include networking solutions that allow video content to be sent to various screens and projectors around the venue.

"Since this is the first time London Fashion Week will have a digital schedule there is a degree of pressure for everything to run smoothly," acknowledged Oliver Richardson, sales director at DB.

Nevertheless, he added that he was confident the company would contribute to a successful debut for the technology.

The company recently unveiled its new touch-screen solution, called ecoXpress.
