DB Systems has launched an innovative new touch-screen software with the aim of helping exhibitors save money and reduce their environmental impact.

The technology will act as an online literature dispenser, with delegates able to look through exhibitors' brochures, select what is relevant to them and then email the information to themselves.

EcoXpress can be installed onto DB Systems' hardware - either kiosks or regular PCs and screens - and the company claims that it will solve the problem of corporate literature being left behind, damaged or thrown away.

"One of the benefits of EcoXpress is that companies will be able to save thousands of pounds because they will not have to pay for the printing of brochures and shipping costs," said Oliver Richardson, sales director at DB Systems.

In November, DB Systems secured a three-year contact along with Aztec Event Services to manage the audio visual staging requirements at Clarion Events' UK shows.
