DB Systems wins two year contract to supply Audio-Visual equipment for GSMA Mobile World Congress
DB Systems has secured a two year contract to be the recommended audio-visual supplier to GSMA, who run Mobile World Congress, the world’s largest expo for the mobile industry.
Taking place at Fira Gran Via, Barcelona, in February each year, Mobile World Congress attracts more than 70,000 visitors and brings together the world’s global leaders in mobile technology for four days of networking, conference and exhibition. The event showcases the latest innovative mobile technologies from phones to tablets and applications to accessories and includes a number of innovative and interactive show features demonstrating the cutting-edge of mobile technology.
The event includes a leading Congress showcasing the perspectives of thought leaders and industry experts from across the mobile industry, the annual Global Mobile Awards and a wide range of supplementary partner events across the city.
DB Systems will supply audio-visual and IT hire services to the 1700+ exhibitors at the event in addition to providing their innovative Sustainability Solution – ecoXpress – to exhibitors. ecoXpress is a digital literature solution which uses an intuitive touchscreen interface and removes the need to print and ship pallet-loads of brochures to each event. The system not only saves money (and trees) by removing printing and shipping costs but also provides invaluable data capture and data analytics, enabling exhibitors to more effectively target their post-event sales activity.
