The Event Supplier and Services Association (ESSA) has combined two of its annual events, with prices being kept at the same level for delegates as last year.

The Event Supplier and Services Association (ESSA) has combined two of its annual events, with prices being kept at the same level for delegates as last year.

ESSA will bring together its G50 and Summer Event at Staverton Park in Daventry on July 21st and 22nd, reducing the need to travel to two separate events.

Delegates can choose to stay for the whole two-day summit or can book customised packages to suit.

The G50 will discuss planning for the future, providing an opportunity for event organisers and professionals to meet and network with industry peers.

In addition, the Event Industry Golf Day, Spa Day and Activity Day for non-golfers will be taking place.

"This year we have kept the standard as high as ever whilst endeavouring to make the event flexible, time and cost effective as possible," commented Chris Skeith, director of ESSA.

Also this week, event organisers have been advised to check their insurance policies in light of the chaos surrounding the grounding of planes as a result of the volcanic ash cloud.
