Event organiser extends contract with DB Systems

UBMi BV is to continue working with DB Systems, it has been announced.

The event organiser has extended its contract with the audio visual equipment hire company for a further two years.

As part of the agreement, DB Systems will provide bespoke AV systems and services for eight events which UBMi BV is organising, including Food Ingredients Europe 2011, CPhI 2010, CPhI 2011 and CPhI 2012.

Oliver Richardson, DB's sales director, said: "I'm delighted that UBM has extended our contract for another two years. Our relationship with UBM is built on a solid foundation of trust developed over years of working together."

Earlier this year, DB Systems netted the Equipment Supplier of the Year accolade at the prestigious Association of Event Organisers (AEO) Excellence Awards.

The IT and audio visual equipment hire company was praised by AEO judges for its "fantastic product innovation", as well as enviable efforts in bringing "exciting new products" to the market.
