Event organiser 'to produce GHD experiential campaign'

GHD's new experiential tour will be organised by Slice Events, it has been announced.

The event organiser has been tasked with running the nationwide tour, which will visit 17 cities over a five-week period, Event magazine reported.

Called Make Waves this Summer, the tour will give consumers the chance to have a professional stylist do their hair using a styler from GHD's exciting colour collection.

Teams of stylists will also carry out demonstrations, where they will show participants how to create the matt, textured wave with the hair straighteners.

GHD UK marketing manager Liz Bryne, said: "The Making Waves tour is a great way for us to be able to demonstrate the flexibility and ease of use of GHD stylers, and the campaign is really resonating with our target consumers."

Slice Events, which was established in 1998, has produced a branded vehicle, which acts as a mobile hair styling salon, and will supply a team of brand ambassadors.
