Ringwood-based event management company CEM Group is to work on next year's Feast of Dorset, it has been announced.

Event organisers at the firm will focus on attracting major sponsorship for the festival and enhancing the restaurant features, chefs and demonstrations.

The festival, which is now in its third year, attracted nearly 10,000 people when it was held earlier this year in Deans Court, Wimborne.

CEM director Charlotte Hockey said the firm loves Feast of Dorset.

"No ordinary food festival, it has a magic which makes it the envy of other events. With our foodie event experience and contacts in the food and drink sector, we can help create new opportunities across the board," she added.

CEM has also worked on the marketing of Dorset Food Week and owns and organises the UK's largest regional hospitality trade show, Hotel & Catering Show, in Bournemouth.

Feast of Dorset will be held next year on September 17th and 18th and will include after-dark bands and dancing on the first day.
