Event organisers have been told that Blackpool's conference facilities are among the best in the UK.
The Blackpool Gazette recently reported that a mystery shopper exercise in the area found that these locations scored highly in dealing with online and telephone enquiries and face-to-face interactions with potential customers.
In total, 46 venues from across the Lancashire area were assessed as part of the study.
Tony Openshaw, director of marketing at the Lancashire and Blackpool Tourist Board, claimed that the area's venues work at an extremely high standard.
He said: "We have a fantastic selection of conference venues and our ambassadors are rightly proud to be telling people about them as they are travelling the country."
Mr Openshaw added that the county was among the best choices for event organisers in the country.
Earlier this month, Rockwool published figures showing that the UK is the world's party capital, hosting 2,280 days of music festivals in 2010.
