Event organisers get new flexible flooring

A new temporary tracking has been created which will help people who are organising outdoor events.

The hexagonal pads from Eve Trakway are said to be more flexible and lighter than previous models and can withstand high traffic, reported Event magazine.

Dave Walkden, head of sales and marketing for Eve, said that the panel has less aluminium than one of the firm's K panels, making it lighter and meaning it "allows more to be transported at any time, thereby reducing the environmental impact".

Another benefit of the equipment for event organisers is that it can be used as both a roadway and a walkway, "providing the same properties as both Eve's heavy and medium duty aluminium panels", Mr Walkden told the source.

Earlier this year, Eve Trakway supplied flooring for Lancashire County Cricket Club in Manchester and the Stadium of Light in Sunderland, for concerts by Take That and Oasis'.

The company used two new pitch coverings at the events, adding 15,000 sq m of Supa-Trac and 7,500 ramps to the company's coverings.
