Peterborough's Exec can be used for different types of events because of its flexibility, it has been claimed.

According to the Peterborough Evening Telegraph, the purpose-built, multifunctional complex was constructed taking into consideration the views of event organisers.

This means that the venue can be used for all types of events from conferences, exhibitions and product launches to sporting events, gala dinners and concerts.

According to the article, conference organisers will find a "superb range of facilities", catering small meetings of 15 up to large events of 1,500.

It added: "The main exhibition hall has a maximum capacity of 5,000 people and with a ceiling height of nine metres is capable of accommodating the tallest of exhibits.

"The hall is equipped with a state-of-the-art, programmable lighting system and is air-conditioned."

This month, Exec will play host to the East of England Autumn Show and the National Festival of Railway Modelling.
