Event organisers nominate contractors for four awards
Melville Event & Exhibition Services has been named the Official Contractor of the Year at this year's Exhibition News Awards.
The contractors are also up for four awards at the Association of Event Organisers (AEO) Excellent Awards.
As well as the Official Contractor award for its performance as a group business, Melville's stand-fitting division has been nominated for a service supplier award, while the floor-planning team is up for the supplier team of the year prize.
Colin Silvers, the company's Middle East rigging manager, has also been nominated for the Unsung Hero honour.
Commenting on the news, Nick Marshall, Melville's chief executive officer, said: "Being nominated for an award is very gratifying - this is especially so when the nominations are made by our peers in the industry.
"It shows that the developments we have made across the business are delivering real customer benefits."
This year's AEO Excellent Awards, which will honour numerous companies across 20 categories, will take place on June 22nd.
