Experimental events at eight airports are to provided by Space and People, it has been announced.

The event organisers will work with eight regional airports across the UK, with a combined footfall of 19 million passengers per year, including Southampton, Bristol and Leeds. Other airports include Exeter, Newcastle, Norwich, Blackpool and Plymouth.

Space and People will provide experiential marketing campaigns — where airport users are invited to try products or play games — for a mix of local clients and major national and international brands.

"Passenger numbers using regional airports have grown significantly in the last decade and these airports are now great places for brands to engage with consumers," said Space and People group chief executive Matthew Bending.

Paula Oliver, managing director of Airport Partners, said: "We are delighted to be working closely with the Space and People team to help develop the value of our experiential opportunities."

Space and People, an experimental marketing organisation, provide event space for companies to show off their products.
