Once again the team behind Exhibitions.co.uk and Venues.org.uk will be exhibiting at International Confex, 19-21st March 2013 at ExCel London. The 2012 event at ExCel London saw 11,133 attendees through the doors and our team definitely noticed the increase of 8% on 2011. The stand was kept very busy with fielding enquiries from new venues looking to list on one or both of our sites and event organisers and exhibitors interested in the options for advertising on Exhibitions.co.uk.
As always the exhibition provides a great opportunity to catch up with existing advertisers as well as forge new business relationships. At the last Confex we caught up with some of Exhibitions.co.uk major clients like Skyline Whitespace Exhibitions and POD Exhibition Stands, while also meeting with some Venues.org.uk clients like Park Plaza and The Lindley Group, who were exhibiting just two stalls away from us. So we are really looking forward to finding out next year’s floor plan in case we are near anymore familiar faces.
2013 will see the show celebrate its 30th anniversary and UBM Live have confirmed a 70% sold floor plan with just under six months still to go. Organisers have announced that a number of new experiences will be launching next year. The first of which is the creation of a Destination Village which will form part of the International sector. International Confex will also be incorporating a programme of senior level corporate education each day of the show after agreeing an exclusive partnership with the Professional Convention Management Association (PCMA).
