FaceTime to share ground-breaking research findings at Marketing Week Live

Facetime Eyetracking Software

FaceTime, the promotional body for the live events industry, will be exhibiting at Marketing Week Live on 29 and 30 June 2011 at Olympia, London.

FaceTime will be revealing its innovative eyetracking research at the show and will demonstrate to marketing professionals how to create the perfect stand presence based on findings from this new ground-breaking study.

Jim Curry, FaceTime Projects Manager, said “Using mobile eyetracking technology we have been able to capture detail of how visitors to a show interact with the environment. Our pioneering eyetracking research records their movements and gazes from their arrival to the show through to visiting stands - thus recording how they are steered to where they want to go, what they see on the way, and how they interact with stands of interest or unexpected distraction.

“Marketing Week Live is the perfect platform for sharing the findings from our ground-breaking eyetracking research, which demonstrates what’s successful as well as what hinders and reveals how to create the perfect stand that can really work for your brand.”

Paul MacDonald, Portfolio Director, Marketing & Creative, Centaur Exhibitions, commented “Marketing Week Live is delighted to be hosting FaceTime and assisting in the promotion of their innovative eyetracking research. It is imperative that the marketing and brand community are aware, and use, all innovative technology available to enhance their campaigns, promotional activity and, ultimately, contribute to the bottom line. Eyetracking technology and research is used extensively with the retail industry and I am interested to see how FaceTime’s exhibition research compares with the thoughts of retailers and brands”
