Furniture hire company secures two airshow contracts
Thorns is to provide garden furniture and a wide range of catering equipment to two major airshows this year.
The furniture hire company has secured contracts with the Royal International Air Tattoo and the Royal Air Force Waddington International Air Show.
Both of the high-profile events, which feature flying and static displays, attract hundreds of thousands of visitors each year.
The new multi-year contracts will see the company provide furniture for public and VIP areas, as well as back-of-house services.
Thorns' group sales director Clair Whitecross said: "Just like the UK's top air shows, Thorns Group is flying high at the moment. Once again we'll be playing a key role at the UKs leading events. This is great news for us and adds to an action-packed summer for the Thorns team."
The company has worked with other big-name events in the past, including the BBC's Sport Personality of the Year awards, where it provided conference chairs, utility tables and banqueting tables.
