Thorns Group was one of the recent sponsors at the launch event of London's new £165 million International Convention Centre (ICC).
The furniture hire company supplied colourful soft furnishings, modern chairs and stools, as well as other items, for the event, which took place on June 24th.
Clair Whitecross, Thorns Group sales director, said the company, which recently hired two new sales staff, was "delighted to be one of the sponsors at this high-profile event".
"The opening of London's first International Convention Centre is massively important to the UK's events and exhibitions industry and is sure to generate business opportunities from organisations around the world. This venue heralds an exciting new era for our industry."
She added that more people and companies will opt to host events in London, which will be "a fantastic boost to tourism generally".
The ICC London features the UK's largest fully-flexible auditorium, which has seating for 5,000 people, as well as the capital's largest banqueting hall.
