Furniture hire company teams up with event organiser

Brintex Events and the Thorns Group are to work together on a number of events, it has been announced.

The move means that the furniture hire group will work on Brintex Events' flagship event the London International Wine Fair. Due to be held next May at the Excel in London, the event is expected to attract more than 20,000 people.

Thorns Group will also supply equipment to Traffex, the international road safety, traffic management, highway infrastructure and intelligent transport systems exhibition.

Brintex operations director Amanda Mansergh said the two companies have enjoyed "a long and successful association", which was why the event organiser decided to extend the relationship.

"At Brintex, we are committed to providing our exhibitors with excellent standards of service and care. I believe these core values are shared by Thorns whose team show similar commitments to customer service, ensuring exhibitors' requirements are met at all times," she added.

Earlier this month, Thorns Group said that it had supplied furniture for Ramsay's Best Restaurant series.
