HIC to host W2C show for event organisers
Harrogate International Centre (HIC) will host a major conference for tourism professionals in March when the Welcome to Yorkshire (W2Y) event comes to the facility.
Over a thousand tourism professionals and event organisers will attend the event, where they will review the W2Y marketing campaign designed to attract the 'staycation' sector.
The W2Y summit will also showcase HIC's facilities as well as demonstrating the region's strength of tourism and events offering.
"Not only is HIC the region's business tourism flagship, it's backed by a team of seasoned professionals who bring creativity, experience and a high standard of service delivery to every event," said Paul Phillips, the newly appointed head of sales and marketing at HIC.
The W2Y event tales place on March 22nd and registration is free.
HIC recently signed a five-year contract to host the annual specialist medical conference, Wounds UK, which this year saw more than 1,300 delegates attend.
