London event organisers 'report record bookings from large-space exhibitors'

Next year's Event Production Show will play host to a higher number of large-space exhibitors than ever before.

Next year's Event Production Show will play host to a higher number of large-space exhibitors than ever before.

The event organisers said that the number of confirmed exhibitors is 44 per cent higher than in December 2009.

Sarah Brownlee, a spokesperson for the Event Production Show, said: "The breadth of associations that are involved in this year's show is representative of our reputation as the industry's meeting place."

Set to take place on February 2nd and 3rd at the Olympia's Grand Hall in London, it will showcase the new products, innovations and concepts that will be used in large events in the UK over the next decade.

These events include the 2012 London Olympics, Diamond Jubilee, 2014 Commonwealth Games and the 2015 Rugby World Cup.

On the second day of the show, UK Music's chief operating officer John Probyn will hold a session called Question Time, in which he will cast a quizzical eye over the events industry and sum up news from the Event Production Show itself.
