Lufthansa has introduced an online tool providing conference organisers with an events-dedicated webpage featuring exclusive offers for participants from across the globe.
The airline's Meetings and Events product aims to make life easier for conference organisers and allows them to plan corporate meetings and trade fairs via the internet.
It contains information on negotiated discounted fares and sales fares in the participants' local currency to ensure they find the best value deals.
Don Bunkenburg, director of corporate sales and regions for North America, said the tool eliminates the time-consuming and costly processes conference organisers faced in the past.
"Our new Meetings and Events product simplifies this process by providing one global offer in an easy-to-use online booking tool, thereby saving our customers valuable time and money," he stated.
In other news, Edinburgh Napier University has developed new conference and festival technology which allows organisers to evaluate the effect of the event on local people.
