CEO of Melville GES, Nick Marshall will take over officially as chair of ESSA from Jan 1 2013 after outgoing chair, Aztec's John Robson handed over the reigns of the association at the last ESSA Board Meeting of 2012 on 13th December.

Marshall said: “I am delighted to be taking over as chair from John. Working together with the ESSA director, Chris Skeith and the team, he has helped to create a strong, robust and well respected association. The ESSA brand has become a badge of quality that helps members to sell their services, it is something of which we can all be proud. We have built close working relationships with our colleagues in the organiser and venue community, and the cross association working groups have been a major success. I am looking forward to building upon these solid foundations and continuing the development of ESSA.”

Event Supplier and Services Association (ESSA) is a trade association representing contractors and suppliers of goods and services to the exhibition industry. ESSA is run by its members for the benefit of its members through an elected council of representatives, specialist working groups and a full time secretariat, which it shares with the Association of Event Organisers (AEO) and Association of Event Venues (AEV).
