Following the success of its debut on 14th to 16th November, Media 10 has announced that they will be extending Manchester’s Ideal Home Show at Christmas to four days next year.

The inaugural Manchester edition of the festive home show was held at EventCity last week, with celebrity chef Gino D'Acampo, actress and chef Lisa Faulkner and interior designer Laurence Llewelyn-Bowen drawing in the crowds.

With decorations, hand crafted gifts, turkey, festive fizz and Christmas puddings, not to mention live demonstrations, entertainment, Ice skating and celebrity appearances, the show is a one stop shop for a fabulous Christmas. Around 300 exhibitors showcased their products and services across seven sections, providing the 31,467 visitors that came through the doors with the ultimate festive shopping experience.

Media 10 MD, Lee Newton, commented: "Following the success of Ideal Home Show's spring debut at EventCity, we had an indication our Christmas show may have done well, so we were incredibly excited to bring the show up North too.

"The feedback from both visitors and exhibitors has been exceptionally positive and the atmosphere within the show throughout the whole weekend was magical, bringing to light that the North West really is a gem in the country's crown when it comes to hosting events and exhibitions.

"We can't wait to be back on Northern soil. There's something about the Northern public that is so inviting. We want to continue bringing events and experiences to the region that the public are going to love, and hopefully they are going to really enjoy the upcoming 2015 shows."

Andy Orr, managing director at EventCity, added: “Everyone at EventCity were delighted to welcome back the Media 10 team. The theatre created around the building, and in particular the entrance, set the scene for visitors to enjoy an incredible festive experience – from being greeted by live Christmas songs, a stunning forest of Christmas trees, theatres, great food ideas and unique exhibitors.”

The London edition of the Ideal Home Show at Christmas is currently running at Earls Court until 23rd November. For more details visit: www.idealhomeshowchristmas.co.uk
