Montgomery Exhibitions has been Accredited by UK Trade and Investment (UKTI) to work with their Tradeshow Access Programme (TAP) in delivering support to UK businesses exhibiting at selected food and drink exhibitions worldwide.

TAP provides grant support for eligible Small & Medium Sized Enterprises to attend trade shows overseas. Participation is usually as part of a group of UK businesses led by an Accredited Trade Association that has agreed to help deliver TAP support.

Montgomery Exhibitions, who are the owners of the IFE Worldwide brand, have nearly 30 years of experience within the international food and drink sector. Montgomery not only plans to arrange UK pavilions to some of the world’s leading food and drink exhibitions, but will also introduce a number of value added services for UK exporters.

A new website will be dedicated to helping UK companies to increase their business abroad.

Services exhibiting companies will benefit from include; extensive knowledge on the markets through Country Reports and ‘how to exhibit’ information, specific ‘meet the buyer’ networking events and visits to leading retailers in the target countries. The website will offer a resource for further information and advice on aspects of exporting food and drink products from the UK.

Montgomery Exhibitions Chairman Christopher Newton is ready to take on this new challenge; “Montgomery Exhibitions has an immense experience of international trade within the food and drink industry, having pioneered the IFE events for nearly 30 years. We will not only be recruiting companies to exhibit at the leading international fairs, but will also be offering added value services to exhibitors to make sure that they are ahead of the game when competing with other countries”
