Movetech UK helps Linx create mini production line
A variable speed turntable from Movetech UK has helped Linx Printing Technologies create a mini production line on their stand at Interpack, Europe’s biggest packaging exhibition, held in Düsseldorf, Germany.
The revolve was used to display the Linx 4900BC coding system, which incorporates a continuous inkjet printer and air-drying technology. It is designed for customers who need to print code onto bottles, so water bottles were placed on the turntable to pass through the system, creating the effect of a mini-production line.
Charles Randon, Senior Product Manager of Linx, said: “At an exhibition the size of Interpack, on-stand space is at a premium, and it’s important for a display to be eye-catching. The Movetech UK turntable was the perfect solution, allowing us to demonstrate movement on our display and show our system in action.”
Themed ‘Relax! It’s a Linx’, and including a mock beach and tiki hut beach bar, with a cocktail hour at the end of each day, the Linx stand attracted a large number of Interpack’s 166,000 visitors from around the world over the course of a week, providing good exposure for its technology and Movetech UK’s capabilities.
