MPI UK and Ireland Chapter’s Summer of Fun Series continues

Following on from the success of the first MPI and a Pint networking evening earlier this month, MPI UK and Ireland Chapter is gearing up for the next events in its Summer of Fun Series.

Following on from the success of the first MPI and a Pint networking evening earlier this month, MPI UK and Ireland Chapter is gearing up for the next events in its Summer of Fun Series.

Taking place at Imbibe in Southwark on July 30 (6:30 - 9:30pm), MPI members are being invited to come and make the most of what the close knit professional community has to offer. Taking place in the venue’s beautiful gardens, the event will also link up with members attending MPI’s World Education Congress (WEC) in St Louis. A further networking event is also planned for August 31 (venue to be confirmed).

Record numbers of members attended the first networking event and the UK and Ireland Chapter hopes that members will continue to take advantage of the social networking opportunities available as the summer progresses.

The summer activities will culminate on September 17 at the Jumeirah Carlton Tower, encompassing the MPI UK and Ireland Chapter AGM, 18th and 40th anniversary celebrations and special announcements about the Chapter’s future programme.

Samme Allen, president of MPI UK and Ireland Chapter and head of sales for the Barbican Centre, comments: “The Summer of Fun series is a great opportunity to make connections and meet friends within the industry as well as put names to faces. Networking is at the heart of all MPI activities so we encourage all members to make the most of these excellent opportunities to increase professional connections. We want as many members as possible to become involved which is why we’re delighted that networking events are also being organised around the country. We look forward to seeing as many people as possible at one of our events as the summer continues.”
