Music and fashion are set to unite at streetwear trade exhibition LondonCentral in September with a string of fantastic music-inspired lines from brands in the UK and US.

Brands that bridge the gap between underground culture and commercial fashion will present their latest designs. LondonCentral is the perfect hunting ground for both high street chains looking to appeal to the lucrative youth market and small independents searching for fledgling designers with their finger on the pulse.

British streetwear brand Aerosoul will debut with their range of T-shirts, hoodies, polo shirts, sweatshirts and baseball t-shirts. See the full range at www.aerosoul.co.uk.

Their designs are inspired by the underground jungle, hip hop, soul and breakbeat scenes and have been worn by artists including Roots Manuva, Natty, Mistajam and Rodney P as well as actor Adam Deacon, members of the cast of Hollyoaks and Sky One’s Grease School Musical.

London-based Cooper Noire will also exhibit for the first time in September, with a line of tees that draws inspiration from counter-cultural rock ‘n’ roll and the great indie record labels and writers. Cooper Noire’s t-shirts are made from 100% combed cotton and are ethically sourced. See more at www.cooper-noire.co.uk.

Longterm LondonCentral exhibitor A-Non Clothing will return with musically influenced graphic tees including their ‘Northern Soul’, ‘God Is A Mod’ and ‘I Love Vinyl’ designs as well as t-shirts emblazoned with musical icons from Gil Scott Heron and Jimi Hendrix to Stevie Wonder. Visit www.a-non.co.uk.

Distributors Magic Streetwear will bring 3 brands which all have their routes in US hip hop culture. Streetwear range Raw Blue and footwear company Akademiks both present products inspired by New York’s hip hop scene whilst Vlado Footwear (pictured) is an LA-based brand with its roots in urban culture and street dance.
