A new venue in Wales which will host some of the country's most important arts events is set to open next month, it has been revealed.

The Cardiff Arts Institute will open in November with a special music event which will see display stands and audio visual equipment used to highlight some of the artists on show.

It is situated on Park Place in the Welsh capital and will "host an eclectic blend of live music, club nights, arts events and food", according to 580 Limited, which is behind the new venue.

The company already owns London venues the Amersham Arms and Lock Tavern and will be bringing notice boards and event staging to the new building on November 5th, where acts such as Cate le Bon and The Joy Formidable will be performing.

Meanwhile, Outsourced Events recently stated that Christmas parties at events such as the Cardiff Arts Institute are "vital" for staff morale in the run up to the festive season.
