Cmpi claims International Confex 2007 will be ‘the biggest and best yet following considerable investment and a number of new initiatives designed to improve the visitor experience, increase visitor numbers and develop the show for the future making it a must attend ‘event’ rather than just another exhibition.’
The organiser says the changes follow visitor and exhibitor research carried out last summer which showed that visitors apparently wanted to feel ‘inspired’ by the show.
Among the new initiatives are, what is claimed to be, the first crèche of its kind to be held a show the size of Confex; a number of different sponsored bars that will promote networking; the Secret Garden that will be a relaxing spa treatment area; finally there is ‘Confex Knowledge’ which is described as an ‘exciting new seminar programme’ that will be podcast.
“Confex is the events industry’s biggest trade show in the UK,” says event director, Duncan Reid. “The new re-brand has given Confex a fresh feel and new look; we want people to be inspired and wowed by Confex 2007 and are keen to excite our loyal visitors as well as attract new and younger visitors.
