TSNN.co.uk has joined forces with MTO Summit to launch a free webinar for event professionals on how to use social media to market events.
The webinar, which takes place Wednesday 17th June at 3pm GMT will address the rise in social networking tools and teach event professionals how these tools can be used effectively for event promotion. Speaker ‘Turbo’ Todd Watson from IBM, Stephen Nold from Meeting Tech Online and Arran Cole with ASP Events will share insights and expertise on how these tools can drive effectiveness and efficiencies demonstrating, with real case studies, how these tools are being used, how and why they work, who is using them, what the benefits are and how event professionals can leverage these technologies to drive traffic to their events.
TSNN’s Brantley Graham says “In recent weeks we have seen a real surge in interest in how technologies can help drive event marketing. Event marketers are beginning to tap into the idea that twitter, Linkedin, facebook and YouTube can help them to build their audience and are particularly attracted by the fact that, in these difficult economic times, these tools are free. However, the challenge for many is that they don’t have the knowledge or expertise to use these tools effectively. Our webinar helps address this educational need.”
The webinar, which is free to attend, is accessible to all event professionals who register in advance at tsnn.co.uk/social-media-event
The webinar will be followed by the MTO Summit on 24th June 2009 at London’s Earls Court. The MTO Summit is a half day conference which will delve deeper into the world of social media for the events industry. Sign up for the free webinar and receive a 25% discount on registration at the MTO Summit. For further information visit mtosummit.com.
