<p>A newspaper and a hotel group in Wales have joined forces to set up a conference competition aimed at event organisers, reports the Daily Post.</p><p>The Daily Post and hospitality chain Llangollen Hotels Group have joined forces in a bid to stimulate the regional conference sector. They have launched a competition that will offer two winning conference organisers the opportunity to choose either a day's access to conference facilities for up to 100 people, with stationary and a breakfast room, or the use of facilities for up to 30 delegates for a full 24 hours including accommodation and meals. </p><p>All that firms will need to do to enter will be to submit a statement by February 13th this year saying how their business would benefit from a conference. </p><p>Each package on offer is worth more than £3,000. In addition, four runners-up will get a conference booking for half price, while every business that enters will be entitled to a 25 per cent discount.</p><p>Walesonline.com reports that the Cynon Valley Indoor Bowls Centre has completed two years of refurbishment and now offers meeting rooms as part of its facilities. <br/><img alt="ADNFCR-1753-ID-18973308-ADNFCR" src="http://feeds.directnews.co.uk/feedtrack/justcopyright.gif?feedid=1753&it..." /></p>
