Online service makes life easier for exhibition visitors
A new interactive 3D venue locator and floor-plan service has been launched by online technology company Northern State to help visitors get more out of exhibitions.
“Visitors and exhibitors get more from an event when they can quickly and easily understand an events offering and organise their time,” said a spokesperson for Northern State. “What better way to present this than using dynamic, intelligent imagery and interaction online.”
With some events using all the halls of the NEC, the online 3D venue overview will help visitors to understand quickly where the event is located with its surrounding facilities. What’s more, a hall selector provides an overview of the event layout with each hall displaying interactive exhibitor stands. Moving around the stands, exhibitor details are displayed with information available by simply selecting a stand. Combined with an exhibitor list, the new online service helps visitors to plan their visit.
