Mash Media, the new organisers of International Confex are planning to make significant changes in an attempt to ‘give the show back to the industry’ next year.

The organisers have committed to creating the event ‘organisers and exhibitors want’ and have already released a call for papers that will see the development of an ambitious educational programme. They are looking for event experts to share their successes, mishaps, advice and ideas to an audience of event professionals.

The event will also shortly confirm a high profile Steering Group, which will provide just one of a series of links between the organisers and the industry.

Donna Bushell, Event Director, International Confex, commented: “It’s been an amazing few weeks for us since we took the reins last month. We’ve had an unbelievably massive response from the industry and a huge amount of suggestions and advice from buyers and exhibitors on how they feel we should take the show forward.

“This is really important, we want to give the show back to the industry and create something we can all be truly proud of. Education and innovation will be a big part of that and we’re encouraging submissions that will deliver a programme that will engage our visitors and leave them with the information and inspiration they need.”

The call for papers now open to anyone working both within and outside of the events industry to submit their ideas. To make a submission please visit www.international-confex.com/callforpapers.
