Who Wants to be a Millionaire creator and chief executive of Celador Paul Smith will speak at an events industry conference next month.

Mr Smith will be the headline speaker at the Association of Event Organisers (AEO) Conference being held at London's Olympia on January 29th.

As well as being one of the most successful quiz show franchises of the last few years, his creation also led to the Oscar-winning hit Slumdog Millionaire.

Tony Manwaring, former chairman of Initiative Media, will join Mr Smith in presenting to event organisers at the conference.

Mr Manwaring has been described as the most creative man in media by Campaign magazine.

"These two world-class speakers really show the strength of AEO's offering at the 2010 Conference," said AEO chief executive Austen Hawkins, adding that they promised to be "interesting and engaging".

YouTube's Bruce Daisely was recently announced as the one of the keynote speakers at the Technology for Marketing and Advertising 2010.
