<p>Members of the public will be able to explore the digital arts sector at a festival celebrating the new media sectors.</p><p>The Imagine-Create 2009 event, to be held in Ulster from April 2nd to 4th, will allow people to sample different technologies, particularly the audio, games design, web media and image industries.</p><p>Organisations like the School of Computing and Intelligent Systems, Derry Cit Council, Skillset Media Academy and Apple will all join with the University of Ulster's School of Creative Arts at Magee to contribute to the event.</p><p>Greg O'Hanlon, festival director, says: "We're delighted to get this concept off the ground and sincerely hope that people can find the time to come view, listen and experience the outstanding work from the assembled speakers and artists."</p><p>He says people likely to attend the technology-driven event include creative types, such as those working in the creative industries, students and technicians.</p><p>DJs are set to take to the stage at the festival, including Hot Chip DJS, Hexstatic, the Black Dog and Boxcutter.<img alt="ADNFCR-1753-ID-19102975-ADNFCR" src="http://feeds.directnews.co.uk/feedtrack/justcopyright.gif?feedid=1753&it..." /></p>
