Sisters set up used wedding item hire and sale service

Two sisters have extended their couture chair covers hire service into a wedding shop selling and renting used, one-off . . .

<p>Two sisters have extended their couture <a href="http://www.tsnn.co.uk/chair_covers/suppliers" target="self">chair covers </a>hire service into a wedding shop selling and renting used, one-off samples and vintage wedding items from dresses to table decorations.</p><p>Mairi Kennedy and Anne Dodd have teamed up to create the Event Diva wedding emporium, which sells or hires items on behalf of individuals wanting to recover some of the costs of their big day, according to The Journal.</p><p>Customers can view products online and reserve items they like the look of, then see them first-hand in the enterprise's showroom.</p><p>The sisters, from Stanley in County Durham, said their couture <a href="http://www.tsnn.co.uk/chair_covers/suppliers" target="self">chair covers</a> service meant they came into contact with a lot of brides-to-be who wanted the perfect wedding without the hefty price tag.</p><p>Ms Kennedy tells the newspaper: "The overwhelming feedback from them all has been that they want to cut costs without cutting on the wow factor."</p><p>Elsewhere, Chad.co.uk recently reported that exhibitors at a wedding fayre in Mansfield "raved" about the success of the event, which attracted 600 to 700 visitors.<br/><img alt="ADNFCR-1753-ID-19142992-ADNFCR" src="http://feeds.directnews.co.uk/feedtrack/justcopyright.gif?feedid=1753&it..." /></p>
